May 2012

I have created a Facebook page for Citadelles.net. Please use the Like button if you want to help and stay tuned with updates.

I am working on the future version of Citadelles, targeting HTML5. Before going too deep into this, I want to work on a simple project, this is a Mancala game, the link is on the right menu. Please share feedback and ideas on the forum.

New game skin, 8 new characters playable and individual character selector implemented.

Server seems to be stabilized for now, I will focus on game new features. These guys are ready to play with (more information here) If you want to help, you can also push the Facebook like button.

July 2010

After a long period of inactivity on Citadelles, I have decided to fully rewrite it. I will focus on multiplayer first, the game is currently in beta version, you can test it and submit feedback using the forum. I will update the forum each time I add new features.

August 2008

Due to security flaws in the forum and in the game, my ISP has decided that my database was spammed and therefore delete some tables, including main forum table containing users and games tables. I guess it is time for a forum upgrade to phpBB3, I have also switched the database to PostgreSQL.

Right now, I still need to find a way to log game results in the database a secure way, therefore, game results are not reported in the Hall of Fame anymore. It is fixed now !

If you had an account registered in the previous forum, please create a new one. I apologize for this.

May 2008

Citadelles is now translated in 8 languages, Hungarian, Italian, German and Dutch newly added. Thanks to LCO, Zauk, Raphael and Mathijs for their contribution. 

More and more people are playing Citadelles each day. Last month, more than 8000 solo games have been played.

The game server is back online. 

There are still some bugs remaining but you might be able to play a couple of games.
